Bobby Shmurda is a free man.

Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, was conditionally released from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to New York's Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, and will be under community supervision until his sentence is completed on Feb. 23, 2026.

According to an interview with Billboard published Monday, Shmurda secured a ride home from fellow rapper Quavo.

The Migos member, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, revealed he would pick up Shmurda from prison, following his release on Tuesday.

"I'm going to get my guy," said Quavo. "I'm personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I'm bout to go get him. I'm gonna let him show you how I'm gonna pick him up, yessir."

And according to Quavo, the viral hip-hop sensation is already looking forward to his return to music.

"It's gonna be big," he said.

Quavo shared a video of the two of them stepping off of a plane together Tuesday, both wearing masks and surrounded by a small entourage of people as they deplaned.

"Did Six And Didn’t Switch Welcome Home!" Quavo captioned the video on Instagram, tagging Bobby Shmurda.
